Rigul Shedra
The original Rigul Shedra was built in the early 1990s, thanks to the generosity of Ringu Tulku and his first Western students, and the hard work of the people of Rigul. In 2004 we started to build the new Rigul Shedra that was inaugurated in 2005, on the day that Ringu Tulku returned to his village. In 2006 the Shedra will welcome its first students who will become the new generation of Rigul and Kham teachers. We expect up to 30/35 students during the four/five year course and it is Rinpoche’s wish that we raise enough funds to sponsor all the students as well as their teachers.
