Poem written for the 54. birthday of Rinpoche:
The summerwind is softly blowing
Through the garden of my mind
While the flowers and trees are growing
As transparent drafts behind
The blue, blue gentle lake reflecting
...
All and nothing
Guru Yoga prayer
From the deepest part of my heart
I pray to You, Lama la!
From the marrow of my bones
I pray to You, ultimate guide!
With each cell of my blood,
And with each atom of my body,
I pray to my beloved teacher!
Finally and with longing faith
I pray to Lord Vajradhara,
The radiant blue essence of my Guru!
To meet You is like wandering
In a beautiful landscape early morning
When all things are taking
A bath in light:
The air is pure and fresh
And a song arises spontaneously
From my lips
To meet You at times
Feels like an earthquake
Or a Thunderstorm
And I am full of wonderment
In reverence to You!
To meet You at other times
Let me perceive my heart
As raw flesh
Sore and full of sadness
About the suffering of all beings
Please, hold me in Your compassion
At all times, Lama la!
Be patient with this donkey!
Through Your blissfull presence
May I rest in the open natural state of mind
Experiencing freedom and hapiness.
May one day I realize my true nature
And may all sentient beings
Have the same opportunity
To meet the precious Guru!
Impressions from the Green Tara-Retreat 1998
Emerald tunes fill the space
Resound to the moon
Then beyond the stars
In a big bow back
Touch like tender moos
The heart
Blissful lake
Blissful lake!
Storm comes and goes
But
Who feels pain?
Nobody´s there
Blissful lake!
Kingfisher dips
With empty beak
Blind rainbow fishes
From the mud
Blissful lake in the morning sun:
Dancing wawes
In an empty mirror
